This weekend, I have headed South to visit a dear friend of mine in Reading. Whilst showing me the local sites, she mentioned to me about this clothing line a friend of hers has and is in the process of transforming the website into something amazing. The clothing line is called WAFFLESNCREAM and has jumpers, snap backs and t-shirts...


We went to visit the man behind the magic, Jomi Marcus-Bello, the creator of the clothing line and he showed us some of his latest creations... really simply but cool stuff. My friend just purchsed one of his snap back caps and a jumper. I used her as the model, naturally...

Ooh not Ouch! Sunburnt Nails!

One of my favourite, but slightly sad, things to do is to sit down with a good film and a lot of nail varnish and spend ages messing around with my nails. Not only is it fun, but stops me from eating in front of the telly! So, quite proud, I thought I would show you the outcome of this weekends Nail/Film marathon. I did take these photos a couple days after, hence the massive smudge on my index finger.

I used a yellow, pink and red nail varnish. After applying two coats of yellow I used a small sponge to sponge on the pink and then later, the red. I also sprinkled a tiny bit of gold glitter on top.

Makes me even more excited about my upcoming holiday!!

Rih Rih for River Island

Yesterday whilst driving home from work, I heard some very exciting news. The one and only sexual sensation known as Rihanna is creating her own line for River Island.

What can we expect to see? Well im thinking, tribal prints, bold, bright and beauitful. Throw in some teeny weeny shorts that show just enough skin to get anyone excited and throw in a few studded tops
and I think were there...

 

Why is it that all these singers have a slash something in terms of occupation or skill. Take Rihanna she isn't just a singer, shes a singer/actress now/fashion designer. Triple threat... what!!

Anyways be excited if its anything like this outfit below we should all hit the gym in preparation to fit into her tiny tribal creations...

The last few months I have been obsessed with Kendall and Kylie Jenner! I know their fame was handed to them on a plate but I can't get over how amazingly good looking they both are. Today was a Royal affair

Today was an exciting day in Nottingham for all. The Queen was in town along with Wills and Kate who greeted her at Nottingham Train station this morning. I was absolutely devastated when I found out I was working today, as friends of mine had asked me to join them, to see the royals in the Market Square in the centre of Nottingham.

Fashion wise Kate is the queen or should I say the duchess of recycling her outfit pieces for different public appearances. This assemble seen below Kate has worn before, but today she teamed it with black courts and a navy fascinator

The Queen continued with the ever-so-flattering mint green palette, following on from one of her Jubliee outfits from last weekend...

Crowds filled the Market Square to see the Royals (as seen on the photo top) around 35,000 people , some setting up camp for front row seats from as early as 5am this morning! It is great to see such royal spirit in my home town, it makes me even more proud of where I'm from, to see local people showing such adoration and support for the Royal Family.


P.S Wills looked as dashing as ever, giving his grandmother a warm greeting at the station and during the days events x

Jubilee Joy

For the patriots amongst us, it has been a weekend filled of tradition in truly British Fashion. As all of us are aware, this weekend the Queen celebrates her Diamond Jubilee meaning that she has spent 60 years reigning as our Queen.

Whether you have been celebrating with your family, or taking advantage of the extra few days off work, I hope its been a good one. As you can see above, one of my friends got into the celebrations with this royal nail art.

Kudos to the Queen herself today, her style was impeccable in a sparkly mint green ensemble. This outfit was designed by one of her favourite long-serving designers; Angela Kelly. Kate Middleton nailed it (yet again), in another Alexander McQueen nude creation for today's continuing celebrations...  

I realised that there has been so much coverage over the weekend that I have missed and decided to catch up today. As it is such an achievement and a historical weekend, how could I not blog about it! Congrats Lizzie, your dedication to this country is inspiring and I hope you've enjoyed yourself as much as the rest of the country has!

Its nearly festival season, bring on the fashion

OK, so I'm not a die hard festival go-er, I must admit this is only my third year on the circuit of festivals such as Leeds, Reading and Creamfields. However, I do appreciate the need to look fabulous, despite the prospects of camping in a muddy field amongst fellow campers.

Never Fully Dressed

Literally obsessed with this website right now!!

After spending about 3 hours grazing the pages of ASOS I gave up and remembered this website which actually sells on ASOS market place. I was surprised to find they had revamped their website and added way more to their line.

Having actually never bought anything off Never Fully Dressed I am still in love with pretty much everything on this site. All the clothes are very casual, feminine and chic and they are loved but the likes of Fearne Cotton and various members of the Made In Chelsea cast. Plus, you have the added bonus of knowing that there aren't 1000 other people wearing what you've got (*cough cough*...Topshop).
