Face Of The Night #2

Due to my upcoming exams my blog posts have been few and far between so sorry about that. However, I took a break from the books the other night to go out for my friends 20th birthday and whilst getting ready I took some photos of my makeup to share with any beauty lovers. Enjoy! x

Ooh not Ouch! Sunburnt Nails!

One of my favourite, but slightly sad, things to do is to sit down with a good film and a lot of nail varnish and spend ages messing around with my nails. Not only is it fun, but stops me from eating in front of the telly! So, quite proud, I thought I would show you the outcome of this weekends Nail/Film marathon. I did take these photos a couple days after, hence the massive smudge on my index finger.

I used a yellow, pink and red nail varnish. After applying two coats of yellow I used a small sponge to sponge on the pink and then later, the red. I also sprinkled a tiny bit of gold glitter on top.

Makes me even more excited about my upcoming holiday!!

Jay-Z and Beyonce or Kim and Kanye?

OK, so I do realise that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have only recently made their romance official but it got me thinking, could they be the next big power couple? Despite the fact that Kim is famous for being famous I do love her as much as the next person, but, really how can she compete with the singing diva that is Beyonce?

Right, so lets compare the two with a light hearted game on Beyonce vs. Kim Top Trumps. Firstly Beyonce

Beauty: 8/10
Brains: 7/10
Talent: 10/10 (without a doubt!)
Style: 7/10
Arm Candy: 8/10

Beauty: 9/10
Brains: 9/10 (she is a businesswoman in her own right)
Talent: 6/10
Style: 8/10
Arm Candy: 7/10

Obviously these figures are based on my own opinion and I think Kim and Kanye have the potential to be something big and wonderful BUT honestly you couldn't have more of a talented twosome of Beyonce and her man Jay-Z!
